Dana Dixon
Dana is an award-winning choreographer, dance educator, yoga teacher, and lifelong movement enthusiast with more than 25 years of experience inspiring people through dance.
Known for her innovative choreography and contagious energy, Dana spent eight years as Head Choreographer for the BC Lions Dance Team and currently teaches adult dance and leads the competitive adult dance program at Spiral Dance Co. in White Rock, BC.
Her career has taken her from professional performance to choreography, teaching, and yoga. Dana's performing credits include the NBA Vancouver Grizzlies Dance Team, Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremonies with Sarah McLachlan, So You Think You Can Dance Canada, the Gemini Awards, and Center Stage 2.
In 2020, Dana expanded her movement education by completing her 200-hour registered yoga teacher training. She has since facilitated movement and yoga experiences for lululemon Team Sweat Sessions, The Dailey Method White Rock, and resorts through Fit Bodies.
Whether she's choreographing, teaching yoga, or getting a room full of adults back onto the dance floor, Dana brings warmth, experience, and an infectious love of movement to everything she teaches. Her classes are an invitation to move with confidence, let go, and remember just how much fun it feels to dance.
